Don't be sad, Piglet |
|
|
What would you all like to hear mentioned in a poem today? Get your answers in by 6pm please as I'm going to Lanzarote very early on Sunday morning! Loads of love, Simon x
Don’t be sad, Piglet
With the soothing pitter-patter of the cold November rain,
And the rivulets of water running down towards the drain,
Michelle looked from the sofa, out the window, to the sky
And thought about her jealousy – she wanted, too, to fly
To a place beyond the clouds where the Sun would warm her face.
When was it she’d get to fly and land in such a place?
For now she’d have to wait, feeling slightly sad like Piglet.
But what is this!? Beneath the cushion!? (Oh) Just a fluffy twiglet.
