Ode to a Fairy
Violet, you're 20 now. It's really quite surreal.
Your teenage years, done and dusted. Now the shit gets real.
The magic's yours to find and share. The journey starts today.
But all the world's a stage, my dear. Life is just a play.

So take it with a pinch of salt and fluffy wallet greens,
'Cause life is yours to play the roles of fairies, kings and queens.
It's sometimes like a tragedy or comedy of errors,
A game of thrones in which "the night is dark and full of terrors."

So hold your star-light high, my dear fairy-sister-friend,
And though your adolescent years have come, now, to an end,
Your inner child needs you to be constant, pure and true,
And, yes, to sometimes laugh with me at funny words like "poo"!

Wishing you all the love in the world on this, a very significant and special birthday.
